Project Description
Testament to the strength of our relationship with the client and the success of the Carlindi Camp construction project and other smaller works completed, we were awarded the upgrade and construction of the Pippingarra Road, which will be the major access road for the client between their operations at Pilgangoora mine site and port storage facility.
Upon completion of initial clearing works, the project has transitioned to the early works phase. The overall outcome for this project is to successfuly upgrade the existing road and construct the new sections.
The project scope of works encompasses:
- initial clearing
- winning and conditioning of fill
- placement, compaction and formation of fill
- traffic management
- installation of culverts
- construction of floodways
With an expedited mobilisation date and compressed project time frame, our client requirements have been successfully met within a limited timeframe while maintaining our high Health, Safety and Environment and quality standards.
The key challenge for this project will be to maintain momentum whilst meeting client budgetary requirements. We are ensuring strong systems are in place to deliver accurate reporting, in addition to a strong site team, led by an experienced Project Manager and Construction Supervisors.
